A few days ago I was ready to sleep I closed my eyes and I can’t fall asleep. its been a few hours that I couldn’t fall asleep. I finally fell asleep. I’d wonder why I couldn’t sleep. I drink very little coffee in the morning. Anyway, I was dreaming and someone I know was on my mind. I didn’t see him in my dream but he was on my mind when I was dreaming, anywhere I look in the dream they pop into my mind it like I’m being reminded of them. I even dream I was at a gathering and I ended up thinking/having thoughts on him. It’s strange that this one guy I know mostly appears when I’m at a beach in my dream. Every time I see that person in my dream we were never far away from each other and we end up being being next to each other or in front of each other. 5 or 6 months ago I’d wake up more than once with someone on my mind. At night I’d barely think about them. I do think about them but not completely before I sleep. They weren’t in my dream but I wake up with them on my mind.

In reply to Krystina. I’ve also had experiences with spirit moving objects. A magnifying glass went flying across the living room of one of the houses we lived in while I was quietly listening to music. One of our ceiling fan’s switches (the long pull kind) made a sound once as if someone had pulled them hard and then they starting spinning. Usually stuff like that only happens if I’m alone I’ve noticed. My mom is definitely intuitive and when I’m with her it’s like we’re stronger together.

I think I am more than one of these (I’m just starting to learn about this) but I definitely smell spirit sometimes. I went to a new friends place for the first time and when I walked in the door I smelled extremely strong cigarette smoke to the point where I thought she must smoke inside. I walked in with one other person and she didn’t smell it. Eventually the new friend mentioned her father smoked heavily and she hated it. I paused and asked her if she smoked and she said no. I told her what I smelled and she said her father had appeared to her many times in her house. I work with elderly people and sometimes I randomly smell smells that remind me intensely of clients who have passed and I think it’s them saying hi or trying to tell me something. It usually only happens for about 5-10 seconds then it’s gone. I’ve had odd dreams my whole life involving spirit and a card reader I once went to said to me, “I don’t know why you’re here paying me honey. You are gifted and could be doing this yourself!” When I was little I would talk to spirit but I don’t remember this. My parents just have stories. I would apparently talk about a man in our home who was nice and would walk through our walls. My parents would catch me having conversations with this man to the point where I was pausing as if to let him speak, then replying.

I feel you i have been have weird things happening to me like how i have been dreaming of someone and then i wake up go to the bathroom go back to bed but that´s the thing i don´t actually go to bed i just lay there until i can go back to bed and it kind of freaks me out because as soon as i wake up my dream was really and i see that person unless like it were like my friend i would have to wait to see them but it turns out to all be the same like the setting, people, and even what they were doing! And same it was my crush that i´m around a lot.

I had something like this happen to me one time the beginning of summer in 2019.My great grandfather had been in the hospital for a while and one night around 2 am I had been sleeping and just woke up randomly.I couldn't recall the dream, I had just a terrible feeling in my stomach and felt like something bad had just happened.I get up and walk into my mothers room to find her on talking on the phone, she then turns to me and tells me my great grandfather had just passed.

In reply to Ramisa Maliha. Yes its normal that you will sometimes be more strongly connected to your gifts. Sounds like you could benefit from a teacher to help you to ground yourself, which will make it less scary and help you to tell when its your intuition and when its your mind. If you don't have access to a teacher why not try some online grounding meditations. Blessings! <3
